But better yet, here is No Purpose, No Design live at the Metro in Chicago, June 22nd of 2005. I was at this show, just left of the camera in the balcony (but, no, you do not see me).
This is another rare find, one I pulled off of an FTP server overnight. I know nothing about this recording, except for the fact that it is the earliest Orb concert I’ve ever seen.
Interesting to notes – “A Huge Ever Growing…” is unlike any other recording I’ve heard, it’s significantly faster and the arrangement seems to be different. Also, “Towers of Dub” was released on the U.F. Orb album (1992), so I wonder if they were testing this live in 1991 to see fan reaction.
